A Very Happy Customer

Hi Steve

I intend to re-cover my P51 in the winter in a more scale like
finish, when I do I will send you some more photos. I have attached
a picture of its current coloured parcel tape finish, a friend of mine
tried to get some shots of the p51 in flight but it was too fast!

I went for one of the cheapest motor setups that I thought would be
powerful enough, and she flies great with a good rate of climb and
good speed. I haven't tried any aerobatics yet but when I do I will let
you know

Spec :
Just under 3lb in weight
Graupner Speed 600 7.2 volt with FG3 3:1 gearbox
Jeti eco 35amp ESC
Overlander 11*8 folding prop
2100mah scr 8.4v nicad

£68 for the complete power train and over 7min of flight per charge
is great value, also the FG3 and speed 600 balance the plane just
about on specified balance point, so trying different batteries will be
no problem. I might even try a 10 cell CP 1700 to give me 4-5 min
of mayhem. I have read that these batteries are roughly the same
size and weight as my 2100s (418g)

This is my first low wing plane and as an intermediate flyer I have
found flying my P51-d to be very easy and great fun, also the after
sales service is second to none, and you can quote me on that.

Thanks again

K Wild
